Despite taking a breather on hiring and encountering a “little bit lighter of a year” overall, Polsinelli took another step toward the billion-dollar revenue mark in 2023, increasing its topline by 7.5% and upping its net income and profits per partner by about 13%, according to preliminary financial reporting by American Lawyer.

That put the Kansas City-founded firm’s gains up to more than $856 million in revenue, and more than $1.9 million in average profits per equity partner, as its equity ranks stayed flat. Revenue per lawyer also increased by 4%, to $889,000, while the firm’s full-time equivalent lawyer count rose by 3% to 963. Polsinelli’s financial year ended on Oct. 31.
